Fall into Fun at CX!09.22.22
With today being the official first day of Fall, we wanted to share a few “sweater weather” activities you can do in the Cambridge Crossing neighborhood.
- Oktoberfest 2022 at Lamplighter
Join Lamplighter Brewing Co. for a Bavarian good time at its annual Oktoberfest 2022 celebration. The CX taproom is serving up double the fun this fall with back-to-back festivities happening Friday, September 23rd & Saturday, September 24th. This year, Lamplighter’s Oktoberfest has an incredible draft list featuring some of its favorite German-inspired beers. Don’t forget to wear your finest lederhosen and drindls, because free beers will be awarded throughout the event for the best dressed. The party takes place indoors and out (weather permitting) at the CX taproom!
2. CX Outdoor Fitness
There are plenty of ways to stay fit at CX! Join us for CX Fit, our free outdoor fitness series continuing through the fall! We partnered with Club High-Rise for the 4th season of CX Fit every Wednesday at 6PM and Saturday at 10AM at Cambridge Crossing. We have instructors from all over the city bringing different types of fitness classes every week, with DJs spinning every weekend, and giveaways every month. Registration is required. You can find more info here.
Or if working out on your own time is more your style, visit our OpenGym, free-to-use fitness equipment providing all the gear you need to perform a workout at any level on demand. Have a furry friend? Check out the equipment to keep your dog fit and playful. Hanging in the picnic grove? Grab the bocce ball set or Spike Ball for some friendly competition. Learn more about the OpenGym Locker here.
3. Grab a hot beverage and stroll through The Common
Tatte and Cafe Beatrice are the perfect cozy cafes to grab a hot drink and catch up with friends and loved ones. Take your coffee or tea to go and stroll through the Common at CX. Experience the fall foliage in one of several open spaces at Cambridge Crossing. Be sure to use the hashtag #CX for your next fall post!
4. Visit Our Latest Public Art Installation, HERStory
Located at The Shed, HERStory is a powerful art installation celebrating the life and legacy of six Cambridge women who have made a significant impact in our community and beyond: Amelia Earhart, Gertrude Wright Morgan, Harriet Ann Jacobs, Julia Child, Katherine “Kittie” Knox, and Maria L. Baldwin. We partnered with Artists for Humanity to create HERStory, and we’re thrilled with the finished product. Stop by The Shed, located outside The Lexington and Lamplighter Brewery at CX, and learn more about HERStory here.
Something incredible is rising in Cambridge.
And here is your exclusive invitation to be a part of it. We want to collaborate with driven, courageous thinkers and makers who share our vision. Cambridge Crossing is the place for leaders and teams who know that the spark of real innovation can strike anywhere at anytime.
